Our Class Blog

This blog is a "base-camp" for our class.
It will contain:
Prep-work and homework information each night.
School/class information for parents and students.
Interesting articles, videos and information for parents.

We ask students and parents to visit this page each day to keep in touch with what is happening in the class.

Our Class Teachers

Mr Adrian Torrese - Monday and Tuesday
Mrs Anna Sheehy - Wednesday and Thursday
Mrs Sonia Caielli - Fridays (Science and Geography)

Parent Meetings

Parents if you would like to meet with us you will always meet with both Adrian and Anna. (And Sonia when possible) This way we are always in touch with relevant issues and ideas. If both of us cannot be available, the meeting will be re-scheduled to find an inclusive time.

Open Classroom

We have an exciting contemporary classroom with innovative design and furniture that has been selected to promote movement when learning, collaboration and reflective learning spaces.
Our class is open to and welcomes parents to visit and watch lessons. 
We will also have a roster for parent help from week 3. Roster days will be Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Educational Technology

We value our students learning in ways that have a high effect on their learning and are based in well researched and engaging strategies.
Our use of educational technology supports our teaching and learning approaches.
In Week 1 we will assist the students in learning the correct use and care of their devise through our Digital License Program.

Swimming

Our swimming lessons begin in Week 1 and 2 of first term.  The first lesson is on Tuesday of Week 1 and our lessons commence at 9:20am each day at Beatty Park.
