Genius Project Prep Work

To get ready for Genius Project activities this week:
Go through the Report Writing SOLO charts and watch the video with an adult.
Which levels do you want to get to?
Go through the Poetry Writing Links with an adult.
Have fun learning the poetry forms using the links.
Be sure you understand what you need to do.
What questions do you have for Mr T?
Which poems you will be creating?
Spelling Learning - Suffixes

Spelling - Prefixes
Complete your Prefixes over Monday and Tuesday night.
Use a dictionary and/or the Internet to help create BIG lists of words when you need to search for words with certain prefixes in the booklet.
Genius Project
Go through the Genius Project with an adult.
Use the Year 4 Project Blog to explain to them what to do and what you are doing.
Remember to show them what people have added to the Google Doc and the Padlet wall.
Ask for some suggestions on any of the work that you will be doing for this project.
Reading
Read one information RAZ kids book.
May be you could find one that related to your Genius Topic?
If not, read a RAZ book of your choice.

Find both odd and even numbers - play both activities.

Our Own West Coast Eagles Star
Yesterday Myles and Xander went to watch the Eagles thrash Collingwood by 10 goals.
Xander had the awesome opportunity of receiving the "red ball" at the end of the game.
